Doulos is the Greek word for ‘slave.’ Many of the early apostles referred to themselves as a ‘slave of Christ’ in their writings. The Doulos room is dedicated to those servants who have given up financial gains in order to devote themselves to serving Christ. This room and the experience that we will offer is intended to be a short term blessing to those who cannot otherwise afford these types of accommodations. The Doulos room will be located in the Retreat House and is an extension of the Recharge Program at Casa de Maná. 

The Doulos Room will be a suite with full-service food and amenities. The amenities vary depending on need and availability. We can discuss your needs and the available services when we determine the dates of your stay. Meals will be prepared in accordance with your desires and when it fits your schedule. We will also provide transportation. Additional bedrooms will be available at the retreat house in the event that children or other guests will be joining you during your stay. 

Most of the humble people who consider themselves 'slaves of Christ' do not normally take advantage of these types of blessings. Therefore, if you know of someone who you feel would be a good candidate for this program please let us know. We consider it an honor and privilege to serve the servants.
