In 2017, a group of Christians recognized the need for a bi-lingual church in the small remote fishing village of La Ribera, BC Mexico. La Ribera is a community located on the Sea of Cortez made up of both local Mexicans and full and part time immigrants that re-locate to the area seeking warm weather climate and outdoor recreational activities in this beautiful part of Baja. The goal was to plant a church that would minister to both people groups, providing biblical teaching, fellowship, a viable children’s program, and community relief aid.
Strong Tower Ministries, Inc., partnered with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) and a local pastor to plant a church to be named Santa Victoria. Between January and May of 2017, a building was located that required remolding to become suitable for the mission. Financial donations were raised and volunteers (skilled and unskilled labor teams) traveled to complete the required renovation. In May of 2017, the church was dedicated, and opened its doors to serve the community.
Santa Victoria continues its mission to serve the community and welcomes you to make this a serving destination for your family or team.
