We want to thank everyone for the prayers and offers of help that have been pouring in over the last few days. We are overwhelmed by the love and support everyone has been showing.

If you are not aware, very late Thursday night, a firestorm swept through the valley of La Mision. This is where Strong Tower Ministries, Inc. (STM) has its Mexican base of operations, Casa de Maná Campus. Throughout our community many homes, buildings, cars and equipment burned, livestock was lost, but no one was killed or even seriously injured. The people of La Misión pulled together and it’s been amazing to witness everyone serving tirelessly.

Unfortunately, along with the homes that were lost, the fire and fierce winds also completely destroyed the clifftop Strong Tower Ministries's property. The recently remodeled existing house and our new distribution center under construction are a total loss. We also lost a substantial amount of construction tools and equipment to the flames.

When tackling any project, we frequently use the phrase “The buildings are irrelevant, it’s our relationship with God and with others that matter.” This is and continues to be our focus. No one was hurt, only buildings were lost.

We see this fire as only a temporary setback. Our mission of “Backing the Heroes” continues. We will be regrouping over the next few weeks as we plan to continue building out the Casa de Maná Campus. We look forward to seeing how God will use the events of this last week and all of our future efforts for His glory.
